OVERVIEW:

For SARS to fulfil its mandate to collect all revenue due and ensure optimal tax compliance, it needs accurate and comprehensive data about all the different kinds of individual taxpayers and companies – referred to as legal entities, in terms of Single Registration. It is equally important to ensure that data with regards to the different relationships between legal entities and their various tax responsibilities and economic activities are accurate, complete and secure.
