CQS Holdings Launches The Integrated Tax Solution For Corporate Tax Returns

Renowned for its software which supports efficient auditing processes, CQS has introduced a new module for the widely used Case Ware Working Papers solution.The corporate tax module automates corporate annual tax returns and submits them straight to the South African Revenue Services’ eFiling service.The new module integrates with the financial statements in Case Ware to deliver the familiar advantages of improved speed, accuracy and compliance which are associated with CQS solutions for auditors and professional accountants.

The introduction of Case Ware’s corporate tax module allows accountants to more easily prepare, review and approve the company annual tax return,confirms Ross Hampton, directorat CQS Technology Holdings. "The ability to then submit the return electronically into SARS eFilingre presents a major step forward in convenience, saving time and providing a seamless process for the execution and submission of this statutory requirement,” he said.

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
