Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan will present the Budget Speech to Parliament at 2pm on 27 February 2013. Budget documents will be available for purchase from 2pm, 27 February, at Government Printers 90 Plein Street, Cape Town, at the SARS offices in Pretoria (Hilton House, first floor, Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn), and at 4 Rissik Street in Johannesburg. The Estimates of National Expenditure will cost R100 each, the Budget Review and the Budget Speech, R100 per pack. Note: These documents have to be purchased on a cash only basis. SARS will not accept cheques or EFT payments for Budget documents this year.
Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
