The fist Tax Students Career Conference will be hosted at Sun City on Friday 15 February.
Close to 400 tax students from various universities, including UP, Wits, UJ and NWU, will gather at Sun City and listen to industry experts and employers regarding the evolving role of the tax profession.
The event will be attended by E&Y, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, Fasset and SARS. The primary objective of the conference is to allow leading industry role players to interact, under one roof, with the future tax leaders of South Africa.
Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
