Opening a form using Adobe Flash
Player offers faster performance and a better user experience, meaning
the form will download quicker as only the sections you require will be
loaded, and enables greater security and privacy control.
Flash Player is available for free download from the SARS eFiling
website by clicking on the "Get ADOBE Flash Player” icon or from
www.adobe.com > downloads by double clicking on the "Get ADOBE Flash
Player” icon. When opening a form on SARS eFiling, you will be prompted
to download Flash Player and you can simply follow the easy steps.
Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) forms will still be available as
an option for a limited time only and therefore you are encouraged to
download Adobe Flash Player or to adapt your IT systems in preparation
for the change.
Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
