SARS is phasing in the use of Adobe Flash Player (version 11 and onwards) as the only plug-in for your browser, to open the forms that are available on SARS eFiling.

Opening a form using Adobe Flash Player offers faster performance and a better user experience, meaning the form will download quicker as only the sections you require will be loaded, and enables greater security and privacy control.

Adobe Flash Player is available for free download from the SARS eFiling website by clicking on the "Get ADOBE Flash Player” icon or from www.adobe.com > downloads by double clicking on the "Get ADOBE Flash Player” icon. When opening a form on SARS eFiling, you will be prompted to download Flash Player and you can simply follow the easy steps.

The Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) forms will still be available as an option for a limited time only and therefore you are encouraged to download Adobe Flash Player or to adapt your IT systems in preparation for the change.
