Tax Commissioners unite to fight tax fraud

The Forum on Tax Administration - Tax Commissioners from 45 countries -  has been meeting in Moscow for the past two days and released this communiqué.

The Forum on Tax Administration was created in July 2002 by the OECD with the aim of promoting dialogue between tax administrations and of identifying good tax administration practices.

WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
