The OECD will hold a public consultation event on the Revised Discussion Draft on Transfer Pricing Aspects of Intangibles and the White Paper on Transfer Pricing Documentation on 12-13 November 2013 at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris, France. The public consultation will also consider other transfer pricing elements of the 19 July 2013 Action Plan on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting.
On 30 July 2013 the OECD published a Revised Discussion Draft containing proposed revisions to the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines on Transfer Pricing Aspects of Intangibles. On the same date the OECD published a White Paper on Transfer Pricing Documentation. Interested parties are invited to submit written comments on the Revised Discussion Draft on Intangibles and on the White Paper on Transfer Pricing Documentation, by 29 September 2013, by e-mail to email@example.com.
The 12-13 November public consultation event is open to the public and press. Due to space limitations, priority will be given to those organisations that will have provided timely written comments on the above mentioned documents. Persons wishing to attend the public consultation may fill out their application for registration on line.
Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
