The Tax Technical Executive of the Institute will be meeting with SARS Executive Management in Western Cape to address operational issues experienced by practitioners.
Please note that SAIT will only escalate operational issues that have already been escalated to a SARS Branch Manager as well as the SSMO without any success. Furthermore, only operational issues that relate to the Western Cape will be entertained.
You have the opportunity to escalate operational issues to the Institute to address with SARS Western Cape.

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
