Various issues were discussed during the meeting held
on 20 February 2014 with SARS regarding operational issues experienced in the
Pretoria area. Included in these discussions were the problems
experienced when submitting documents on e-filing, modernisation issues to be
raised at the National Operational meeting in March 2014, as well as tax
practitioner meetings that may be scheduled at the Pavilion TPU, Doornkloof or
Pretoria North SARS branch. Click here for more detail in this regard.
In some instances SARS requested more examples of the issues
discussed. Please respond to the mailer requesting more information in
Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
