Prof Smulders and her technical
team (Emmerentia Fischer & Erich Bell) held their 2nd webinar of
the year. They discussed the SAIT submission on the 2014 Budget Speech that was
presented in Parliament as well as the latest SARS operational issues that our
members have been facing. Feedback from the SARS National Recognised
Controlling Body Forum meeting was provided and issues such as senior SARS
officials list, single registration, VAT registrations, Tax Clearance
Certificate and efiling concerns were all discussed. Future dates for the next
operational meetings and submissions (call for comments) were also provided.
Participants will be provided with answers to their questions raised in a
separate mailer. The next webinar date will be announced soon.
