Amendments to Part 5A and 5B of Schedule No. 1 and Part 3 of Schedule No. 6 in relation to the diesel concessions and increases in petrol, diesel and Road Accident Fund levy, as announced by the Minister in his 2014 Budget Review - effective from 2 April 2014: 

Part 3 of Schedule No. 6 - Implementation of the adjusted diesel concessions as announced by the Minister in his 2014 Budget Review on 26 February 2014.

Part 5A of Schedule No. 1 - Increase in the rate of general fuel levy from 212,5c/li to 224,5c/li and 197,5c/li to 209,5c/li on petrol and diesel respectively, as announced by the Minister in his 2014 Budget Review on 26 February 2014

​Part 5 B of Schedule No. 1 - Increase in the Road Accident Fund levy on both petrol and diesel from 96c/li to 104c/li as announced by the Minister in his 2014 Budget Review on 26 February 2014.


WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
