Please note that SAIT recently attended a round-table with National Treasury regarding proposed changes to the taxation of small businesses.

The 2014 budget announced changes to the Small Business Corporation (SBC) and Turnover Tax for micro businesses regimes. It is imperative that the tax industry carefully consider changes to the small business tax regimes.

The Institute proposed to National Treasury that a survey be conducted.  We therefore appeal to you to complete the quick poll developed by SAIT to have your voice heard and assist the Institute to provide commentary to National Treasury.
