Insertion of Note 8 into Schedule No. 3 of the Customs and Excise Act

 Customs and Excise Act, 1964: 

SARS has inserted Note 8 into Schedule No. 3 to allow manufacturers in a Customs Controlled Area (CCA) to use the rebates in Schedule No. 3 - ITAC Report 471​.

WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
