These webinars will be presented at absolutely no cost and
they’re a must attend for any tax practitioner. The webinars will be focused
on difficulties experienced by tax practitioners in their dealings with SARS.

A tax practitioner would be provided with an override code where the other tax practitioner has not responded to the transfer request within five days. Should the other tax practitioner decline the transfer request, then the tax practitioner and the client would have to personally deal with the tax practitioner refusing the transfer.
Thank you SAIT and SARS. I was able to do the quiz without referring to my notes. I was also able to assist a client by confirming his bank details on the RAV01 form after appointing myself as his representative. Keep it up. PS: The taxpayer override is still problematic - how long should it take to get an override code? I have a number of clients who attempted to register themselves as e-filers and have never been able to log in because they did not record their user name or password. Can SARS not cancel registrations of e-filers who have not been active for a period of time, e.g. 24 months?
Thank you SAIT, Is it possible that these webinars are available to download and listen offline, because currently, it appears as if you need a permanent internet access every time you want to refer back to them. It will be most helpful if they can be available to download
Most welcome news. Thanks to SAIT and SARS for this initiative. Could we ask SAIT to make available a recording of these webinars, so that we can have refer back to the information. This will also be most helpful when break-up of sound is an issue during the actual webinar
My thanks to SAIT for this initiative, which is really appreciated. However, I would just like to add that I was also one the many who experienced broken-up sound from the moment that the "online" demo of the e-filing website started. Prior to that, the sound was perfect my side. It is suggested that SAIT please look into this technical difficulty. Thank you.
Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
