There has been a substitution of tariff subheadings 1605.53.20 and 1605.53.90 to increase the general rate of customs duty from 5.5 c/kg to 25% on mussels as recommended in ITAC Minute No. M02/2014

WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
