Part 1 of schedule no. 1 - increase in the general rate of customs duty on certain paper products of paperboard coated, impregnated or covered with plastic or metal foil from "free" to 5%, by the insertion of tariff subheadings 4811.59.05 and 4811.90.05 and the substitution of tariff subheadings 4811.59.10 and 4811.90.10 - ITAC Report 484.

WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
