The South African Revenue Service (SARS) is conducting a Quarterly Business Perception Study for the 2nd quarter of the 2015/16 financial year. The survey aims to gauge the opinions of business owners, financial directors, chief financial officers, chief executive officers and managing directors on the impact of the current economic climate on businesses.

By providing your experiences and perceptions on a quarterly basis, you will be assisting SARS in gaining a better understanding of the nature and extent of the impact of the economic climate on the business environment.

Please note that the survey does not enquire about your business tax affairs and SARS will not be able to link your responses to your tax account. All responses will be treated confidentially, and will remain anonymous.

The online survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please click on the following link to complete the survey:Quarterly Economic Survey - General.

In the event that you are not the correct person to respond to this survey, kindly forward this letter to the relevant department or person.

The closing date for the survey is 25 August 2015.

Should you have any enquiries or feedback, please email Aleseng Moshoette on Amoshoette@sars.gov.za

Sincerely,

SOUTH AFRICAN REVENUE SERVICE
