The 2015 Tax Statistics bulletin was released on 10 November 2015.The objective of the publication is to present comprehensive tax revenue data in a manner that will complement and help contextualise economic and demographic data provided by other publications.

The 2015 Tax Statistics Bulletin provides an overview of tax revenue collection and tax return information for the 2010/11 to 2014/15 fiscal years, and the 2011 to 2014 tax years respectively.

WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER

The Act requires that a minimum academic and practical requirments be set to register with a controlling body. Click here for the minimum requirements of SAIT.
