On the 8th January 2016 the President of the Republic of South Africa have signed Act No. 23 of 2015: Tax Administration Laws Amendment Act, 2015 and Act No. 25 of 2015: Taxation Laws Amendment Act, 2015 into law. Kindly take note that the English text was signed by the President.

WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
