The tax accountant would assist with monthly normal tax and deferred tax computations, reviewing the effective tax rates, explaining variances, reviewing STC calculations, etc. It would constitute a ‘pull together and review for reasonableness and correctness’ role, as the computations are currently being performed by accountants in the Finance department. Tax budgets to be performed. Bcom + articles or qualified CA (SA) / H Dip Tax, FAIS from an Investment Banking environment.
