MAKE YOUR MARK AS A TAX PROFESSIONAL FOR A DAY

Overview

THE SAIT TAX STUDENT CONFERENCE is the largest and most recognised tax student event in South Africa. This auspicious event ensures that higher education students from different finance-related academic fields – taxation, law, accounting and commerce – are exposed to the wonderful opportunities that exist in the tax world, facilitating career decisions in line with their skill sets and fields of interest. Employers, too, have the opportunity to make timeous decisions with regard to their graduate recruitment policies.

The 2017 conference is ultimately structured to provide students with maximum engagement opportunities to showcase their skill sets – it is a golden opportunity for students who want to ensure their future in tax and make their mark in front of key employers. This year, students can look forward to networking opportunities with other students, lecturers and professionals in practice; motivational, developmental and fun activities; and invaluable career advice that will assist them in making better career choices.

Given the Fees Must Fall movement in 2016, and the recurring movement in 2017, entry to the conference will be free of charge to students. The only requirement for entry will be the submission of a detailed CV and their active participation.

  • 05 May 2017 - Johannesburg - 09:00 until 17:00
