Network with other tax experts

Forming connections with other Tax Professionals is a vital part of your professional development and being able to collaborate to solve your client issues.

How can I start to connect with colleagues?

To build connections you can search for individuals, key words, special interest groups, and so on. Once you find who you are looking for/need to connect with, you can send them a connection invite.

Click on the Add Connection button to send someone a connection invite. They will receive an email and a profile notification/alert that they have outstanding connection invites. They can choose to accept or decline invites.

Once connections are formed you are able to manage and interact privately and securely with those connections, share documents, content and so forth.

Once signed in, click on your connection tab in your profile box. Various tools are available to communicate and manage your connections. You can message them, set certain preferences, see invites, move connections into categories.

Connections allow you to build networks that will help you access and find skills, content, information to serve your clients better. We highly recommend this feature as a platform to network, link with experts in certain areas of tax practice and develop your professional profile.

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
