Registrations External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) 2016 

Registrations to write the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) 24 & 25 November 2016 are open. 
Application to write the External Integrated Summative Assessment can be made to The SAIT Head of Education and Standards, Caretha Laubscher, by e-mail, claubscher@thesait.org.za, if all three components of the Qualification have been successfully completed. 

Please email the EISA Application form to claubscher@thesait.org.za.

All applications must include the following documents:

  • Statement of Results for the Knowledge Component of the Qualification;
  • Statement of Results for the Practical Skills Component of the Qualification; and
  • A Training Record signed by a registered assessor or accredited workplace provider indicating that the learner has met all the requirements of the Workplace Component of the Qualification.

If the required mark to pass is achieved in the External Integrated Summative Assessment, the Occupational Qualification: Tax Professional will be awarded by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) as the Regulatory Body.

The Qualification will be recognised by SAIT for full membership and professional status. The Qualification leads to the designations General Tax Professional (SA)

Fees

The Tax Professional External Integrated Summative Assessment Fee is R5950.

Supplementary Assessment

Results for the supplementary Tax Professional External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA)  will be available soon. For all candidates deemed not competent in July 2016 Supplementary, re-write opportunity will be available 24 & 25 November 2016.

Copies of Assessment Answer Books

  • Candidates who were unsuccessful in the November 2015 Tax Professional Knowledge Competency Assessment, may request a copy of their script in terms of section 51 of the Promotion to Access to Information Act (Act 2 of 2000).
  • Assessment scripts are kept for 6 months after the results have been published.
  • To request a copy of your answer books and mark sheets, kindly e-mail education@thesait.org.za

Application for special assessment concessions

WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER

The Act requires that a minimum academic and practical requirments be set to register with a controlling body. Click here for the minimum requirements of SAIT.
