The new Qualification for Tax Professionals is an important learning pathway that leads to the Occupational Qualification: The Tax Professional. The Qualification will help to increase the number of specialised tax professional to serve the South African economy and to enhance the quality of tax services provided to the public by private practitioners and by the South African Revenue Services

WHY REGISTER WITH SAIT?

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER
