Overview

VAT Intermediate Workshop is designed for individuals, staff and financial management currently working in a financial environment dealing with the VAT of the business, and require guidance with calculating this correctly as well as deducting the maximum VAT amount allowable.

This further workshop adopts a more practical approach to VAT and it’s components so that calculations and subsequent submissions and payments to SARS are done accurately.

Ruzel van Jaarsveld


She has over 20 years financial and bookkeeping experience, working with many industries and corporate environments, with extensive knowledge and practical application of trial balance, payroll, VAT, PAYE returns, Inventory control, Management Accounts, E-filing and Procedures of Importing and Exporting.

She is a seasoned appointed facilitator with Biz Facility, and for numerous years has been presenting various national practical financial workshops to business owners and corporate financial staff.

What makes this workshop so unique is that physical examples will be looked at and the facilitator will assist all the delegates with queries and questions they have on the subject.

Payments & Cancellations

  • All payments must be made by EFT or by credit card, at least 3 working days before commencement of an event.
  • Kindly note that should payment not been received 2 days after the event, legal action will be taken
  • Proof of payment will be requested at registration, if payment at that point in time has not been reflected on SAIT's bank account.
  • Only written notice of cancellation will be recognised.
  • Conditions:
    • If the cancellation occurs more than 4 working days prior to the event no cancellation fee will be charged.
    • If the cancellation occurs less than 4 working days prior to the event a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
  • Delegates who book and fail to attend will be liable for the full event fee.
  • SAIT's liability in the case of an event being cancelled will be limited to a refund or credit of the event fee.
