2nd Annual Continental Africa Tax Conference 2016

The international tax system is changing rapidly as a result of coordinated actions by governments and unilateral measures designed by individual countries.  All of these actions / measures are designed to tackle concerns over base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) to limit perceived international tax avoidance.  The main targets are high-profile multinationals with transfer pricing to be used as the key weapon.  Not only will multinationals become subject to an increased level of audit but also a heavy volume of additional compliance paperwork.

According to one notable tax firm, the BEPS project is likely to spur the most significant changes to the taxation of international business in nearly 30 years. South Africa and the continent will arguably be most affected by the global awareness and coordination.  It is now clear that African countries will be adopting many of these changes with some countries even tilting towards a protectionist view against outside investment.

The 2nd Annual Continental African Tax Conference is designed to act as a platform where tax advisors, in-house staff and revenue officials from the region will engage with one another in order to create a more win-win environment.

Be sure to book your place at this exclusive event! Seats are limited.
