As you may know by now, our modernised website – TaxTalk Today – is up and running! The daily South African tax aggregator collects up-to-date tax legislation, government tax pronouncements and other tax news to keep you in the loop. We are eager to hear your thoughts, so please log on to and send us your feedback.

These online improvements have also extended to the TaxTalk Weekly newsletter. One of the new features is the mailer’s ability to be customisable for specific areas of tax. You are now able to customise your newsletter by subscribing and selecting your preferred tax types applicable to your line of business (e.g. VAT, Income Tax, etc.).

As we migrate to the new format, please take note of the process that will take place over the next couple of weeks. You can expect to receive two mailers on a Thursday: the old format newsletter in the morning and the new format version in the afternoon. This will assist us in picking up any glitches in the changeover, while ensuring you still receive your weekly tax news fix.

Please contact us if you have any concerns. Feedback should be sent to

*Please note that the new newsletter will be best viewed via an online mail service such as Gmail. Alternatively, a link will be provided to facilitate access to the online version via your Outlook email application.
