Michael Katz is one of the most published authors on legal and fiscal topics in South Africa. Given Michael’s contribution to South African society and taxation, SAIT was privileged to extend an honorary fellowship award to him at our tax gala dinner held on the 14th of May.

During his more than 47 years’ in legal practice, Michael has published numerous articles, chapters and papers on legal and fiscal topics, including co-authoring the Butterworths Company Law Precedents (4 Volumes).

As a member of Board of Governors of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem he is also acting as an ambassador for South Africa within the international academic community.
