ENSafrica/SAIT Corporate Tax Update (JHB)

The ENSafrica Corporate Tax Update held in Johannesburg on 14 March 2014 was a huge success!  The seminar was presented by ENSafrica tax executives and included all critical amendments to ensure that corporate and LBC taxpayers update their tax strategy, mitigate their tax risks and ensure that their tax functions are performed adequately. 

The topics covered included Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) and the OECD’s Action Plan and its effect on South Africa, presented by Bernard du Plessis and Okkie Kellerman and the new penalty regime and dispute resolution rules were presented by Beric Croome, to name but a few. Please follow the links for further details regarding the program and to view some of the photos taken during the event

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
