The purpose of the One-Stop-Border-Post agreements between two countries is to -

  • reduce border crossing time
  • share logistics costs
  • improve cooperation
  • intergrate risk and information management
There are currently no OSBPs in operation, but to keep you updated with the negotiation process, a status overview is given here.

Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
