Substitution of anti-dumping item - Anti-dumping duty on garlic

There has been a substitution of anti-dumping items 202.02/0703.20 and 202.02/0712.90.90 to increase the rates of anti-dumping duty on garlic from 1 037c/kg to 1 925c/kg - ITAC’s Report 506.

In terms of section 56 of the Customs and Excise Act, 1964, Part 1 of Schedule No. 2 to the said Act is hereby amended to the extent set out in the Schedule (29 October 2015).



Section 240A of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (as amended) requires that all tax practitioners register with a recognized controlling body before 1 July 2013. It is a criminal offense to not register with both a recognized controlling body and SARS.
