Business Tax Incentives

What are business grants and incentives?

In short, business tax incentives and grants are funds received from government by entities for undertaking specific projects, services or activities.

There are full and cost-sharing grants, both of which are usually not repayable. For grants that are less than 100% of approved cost, the applicant will be required to fund the balance of the project at hand.

There are also tax incentives through which entities can reduce their tax liabilities.

Who needs it and why?

Grants and tax incentives offer some form of financial support to businesses of all sizes. Any business in need of financial support for a project, service or activity should be aware of the grants and tax incentives available to them.
