Member Connection Tools

Your SAIT membership is your key to the tax community. It keeps you in touch with peers and fellow tax professionals, and keeps you up to date with all the changes and updates in the industry.

Now more than ever, it’s vital to stay connected while staying apart. Here are some online tools available to you, our valued members, to keep you on track.

Social Link*

Log in to your member profile to access SAIT’s very own social networking platform, Social Link, which is exclusive to members. Similar to LinkedIn, members are able to add connections, post status updates and receive important announcements from SAIT. You’ll find this feature by clicking on “My Feed” on the navigation bar at the top of your profile.

Remember that much like other social networks, only your connections or “friends” will see your status updates. Grow your network by adding or accepting connections. If you’d like to pose a question to the entire community of 8 000-strong members, begin a thread on the Professional Forum.

Professional Forum*

Housed within your member profile, the forum will allow you to post a thread about a topic and receive feedback from fellow SAIT members. View the guide above to find out how. We’ve set this as your landing page when you log in to your member profile to make it easily accessible, and to keep you in the loop on what everyone is talking about.

Tax Helpline*

If you require expert technical advice on a particular issue, log your query on the Tax Helpline for one of our specialist consultants to assist you. We’ve made it easy for you to submit your question on the Tax Helpline by adding it to the “quick links” tab on the top menu bar of your member profile.
